Courtesy name: Xue Chengmei (薛成美) (derived from the proverb 成人之美 (chéng rén zhī měi) meaning 'help others do good deeds')
Age: Late teens to late 20's depending on canon point

Weapon: A sword named Jiangzai (降灾) (降 jiàng – to bring down, 灾 zāi – disasters)
Powers & abilities: He’s skilled with swords and daggers, but his real talent lies in demonic cultivation.

Canon: Mo Dao Zu Shi / The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (novel, donghua (anime) and manhua) and The Untamed (live action drama). I am familiar with all adaptations and am willing to play based on any of them!

Shipping: My favorite ships from canon are with Xiao Xingchen and/or Song Lan. I'm open to other ships, especially for purely sexual things. Romance is gonna take a lot more effort with Xue Yang. I'm also open to cross-canon ships, especially with other danmei/wuxia characters!

Content warnings: Xue Yang's story in canon involves him committing atrocities such as mass murder, tricking an unsuspecting person into killing living people, cutting people's tongues out, blinding people, driving someone to suicide... yeah, he's not a good person. A lot of this stuff is probably going to come up since Xue Yang is generally proud of his handiwork and especially likes to rub it in the faces of people effected by his actions.

Xue Yang's backstory involves child abuse, starvation and other things that come with being an orphaned street kid. He is not too likely to share the worst traumas of his life with people, but it could still come up.

He lost a finger in a traumatic event as a child and while he won't tell this story to anyone unless he trusts them (which is a big ask in and of itself...), he wears a brace on his hand with a fake finger in place of the missing one, but it doesn't move or bend with his other fingers so it's not too hard to figure out that it's missing.

A personal headcanon of mine is that Xue Yang engaged in survival sex work as a young teen/preteen, but since this is not canon it can be left out if it's something that makes you uncomfortable. He's not too likely to talk about it in the first place either.
