[ Xue Yang frowns, eyebrows raising. ]

In a hole? Sure, I'll help you. What happened?

He... He is being tortured, I think? The sounds... [They are upsetting.] What does the hole in a prison sound like to you?

[ He frowns a little. ] Some sort of isolation I'd guess. Probably to punish him for something. I imagine it'd be hidden away from everywhere else.

[gentledawn]

Punishment... He... [Oh boy.] He did say he is a demon. I told you about him before. His name is Koro. He helped me with my eyes.

We really don't have a chance of finding it.

Oh, yeah, you did. [ He snorts a little and shakes his head. ] Hey, don't say that. We can meet up and go looking.

[Xingchen has been searching for Xue Yang the entire time. He finally finds the other man and presses himself against him.]

[ Xue Yang immediately draws Xingchen into his arms and presses a kiss to his cheek. ]

C'mon. Let's go find this place. [ He can't say he gives much of a shit about Xingchen's friend, but he doesn't like to see Xingchen upset. ]

[He finds it easier to breathe and think in the other man's hold. His frown eases too and he kisses Xue Yang's cheek in return.]

Thank you. [Xingchen points to the direction he had come from.] Another prisoner told me the prison is like a...a...labyrinth? The hole could be in the middle.

[ Xue Yang furrows his brows. That makes some sense though. He slips his hand into Xingchen's, squeezing it gently. ]

Alright. I'll see if there's a map or something around...

Let's try the common areas. [Xingchen feels the grip and the reassurance. He smiles at the thoughtfulness. This really does feel like he has his little friend back.]

[ He lifts their entwined hands and kisses Xingchen's knuckles. He then leads him towards the common areas.

He glances around until he finally does spot a map on the wall. After studying it for a moment he concludes that yes, the "hole" is probably going to be somewhere in the middle of the facility, probably underground. ]

The hole isn't marked on the map, but I think it's probably in the middle somewhere.

[His world settles and Xingchen follows Xue Yang without hesitation or question. He might be a fool, but after the night they spent together, revealing the truth, he trusts that their hearts are aligned.

And he isn't disappointed.]

So if we keep going deeper, we will find it eventually.

Ah, A-Yang, I don't want to risk you. If you can just find the door that leads further inside, I can follow it.

[ Xue Yang just tightens his hold on Xingchen's hand. ]

No way, A-Chen. I'm coming with you. I'm not letting you go down to some fucked up place like that on your own!

[Cheeks red, Xingchen leans in to claim a kiss. He ends up bumping his lips against Xue Yang's cheek.]

Sorry. [He nods and touches Shuanghua's hilt.] Stay with me. We're stronger together.

[ Xue Yang relaxes, smiling at the clumsy kiss. He puts a hand on Xingchen's cheek and guides him to his lips, kissing him softly. ]

Yeah. Let's go.
